Shipping and Returns

Quick Details

  • Orders can take 1-3 business days of processing time unless otherwise noted on the product page.
  • If you are in our Local Delivery area in Toronto your order will default to Local Delivery. If you would like your order delivered by Canada Post or UPS please contact us.
  • Shipping fees are subject to change and are based on actual estimates from Canada Post or UPS based on the size and weight of your order - some orders may qualify for additional shipping charges based on the size and bulk of the order. Customers will always be contacted.
  • We do not ship to the USA at this time.
  • We do not offer pick up at this time.

Estimated Delivery Times

When you reach the Check Out page you will see an estimated delivery time for both Local Delivery and via Postal methods. Please note that the shipping times calculated by our shipping tool do not include processing times, are based on optimal postal conditions, and are based on the date the package leaves our warehouse, and not from when you make the order. Unless you are utilizing our Local Delivery option within our Local Delivery area, days are measured in business days and do not include weekends or holidays.

Processing Time

All orders may take 1-3 business days of processing time to be picked, packed, and prepared for shipping - shipping time quoted on check out does not include processing time.

Shipping

V Word Market provides a variety of shipping options through Local Couriers, Canada Post, and UPS. Please note that whichever shipping method you choose, your order may be subject to 1-3 business days or processing time in our facility.

Local Delivery

This option is available for customers located in our Local Delivery Area. You can see the delivery area below: 

The boundaries of our Local Delivery area are as far west as HWY 427 and all the way over to Markham Rd in the East, Steeles to the North, and Lake Ontario to the south. You might also notice that we do not deliver to the Toronto Islands.

Orders will be automatically scheduled based on delivery location, availability of delivery time slot, and other factors. Our aim is to get your order out to you as soon as possible. For local delivery customers, that typically means next day or day after delivery.

Standard deliveries are scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 6-9pm, and Weekends 9-12am. Daytime weekday delivery is available, and is typically done GoodFoot Delivery, but please contact us.

GoodFoot Delivery is an awesome organization that does a lot of things we love. They offer reliable delivery by foot or by public transit, they employ people with developmental disabilities or other barriers to employment, and their social aim sets them apart from other delivery companies in the city. 

Once you place your order and select Local Delivery at checkout, you will receive an email indicating your scheduled delivery time.  This email will also contain a link where you can reschedule your local delivery for a time that is more convenient for you. 

You do not have to be home to get your delivery, we can leave it in a safe place you specify on your porch or deck or with your apartment's concierge - but you have to let us know that's something  you are okay with. If you would like your concierge to accept your order - you need to let them know, because otherwise they may not accept it.

Please note - Local delivery can be impacted by weather conditions and other things beyond our control, but we will make sure to contact you to let you know if there are any issues as soon as we can.

Canada Post and UPS shipping 

We offer a variety of shipping options with Canada Post and UPS. Shipping rates are estimated at check out based on your order’s size and weight. The time estimated next to each shipping option does not include processing time.

Frozen or Refrigerated Items

If you place an order for Frozen or Refrigerated items via Postal System, the cost of an insulated container and an appropriate amount of ice packs will automatically be added to your order at check out. We recommend an insulated box year round, as we do not have control over the temperatures of postal warehouses or delivery trucks. 

Returns

We at V Word Market want you to be totally satisfied with your shopping experience. We accept returns of unopened products up to 30 days after the date of purchase. Opened or used items or any items marked as non-refundable are not eligible for returns. We cannot accept any returns from Clearance or Almost Perfect items or any items that are marked as non-returnable on the product page.

Please know that we are not the manufacturers of the products we sell, so if you have a warranty issue or general complaint with a product, you may want to try calling the manufacturer at the number on the packaging.

If you would like to make a return request, please email info@VWordMarket.ca with your order number, indicate the item you’d like to return, and the reason for the return. One of our friendly V Word Market elves will contact you as soon as possible with the next steps.
